When you are arrested for a DUI, the Department of Licensing can suspend your license. Just the simple fact that you are arrested for a DUI charge, can suspend your license. The DOL will send you notice in the mail that you have the opportunity to schedule an administrative hearing to try to prevent this suspension. Starting January 1st, 2019, you will only have seven days to request this formal hearing in writing.
